As a Key Accountmanager / Business Developer at BlueHeart Energy, you are responsible for recruiting new clients and strengthening existing client relationships. Your focus is on selling the thermo-acoustic core for heat pumps and air conditioning systems to large and medium-sized manufacturers (OEMs). In this role, traveling is a significant part of your job: you visit a client regularly, mainly within Europe. In addition, you represent BlueHeart Energy at international fairs and congresses, such as the European Heat Pump Association Conference in Brussels. These occasions are perfect for maintaining existing relationships and establishing new contacts. You also support various marketing activities, such as creating digital campaigns that help BlueHeart Energy stand out in the market. And help optimising sales presentations or marketing materials.

You are part of a growing Business Development team of four people, which will soon expand to six. In addition, you have a lot of contact and consultation with the Business Development Manager and the CEO to develop the business and expand the customer base. Together you aim to increase the impact of BlueHeart Energy's product on the heat pump market.

Firsthand experience

You have to present a client a comparison between a compression heat pump with propane and a heat pump with the thermo-acoustic unit from BlueHeart. What do you do?

First, you work together with the HVAC Application Engineer to gather all important information about both technologies. You look at how efficient, affordable, and environmentally friendly both systems are. Together, you compile a clear and convincing overview that demonstrates why the thermo-acoustic unit from BlueHeart is better, especially in terms of energy efficiency and environmental impact.

You then create a presentation with this information, complete with graphs and tables that make the benefits clear. You prepare this presentation well, so you can answer all the client's questions during the presentation. You explain how the unique features of the thermo-acoustic unit can help the client save costs and operate more environmentally friendly. By being well-prepared and communicating clearly, you try to convince the client of the benefits of switching to the technology of BlueHeart Energy.

Working at BlueHeart Energy

BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 to apply thermoacoustics as a technology in heat pumps and other applications as a replacement of compression technology. This so called 'Blue Heart' of a heat pump is sold to manufacturers. We are continuous improving the 'Blue Heart' with new developed and optimizations. As well we will develop different products over time. Besides this, we will set up our production facility, strengthen the relationships with our customers (OEM's and ODM's) and set up pilot projects in houses and other (industrial) applications and monitor these.
